This year’s Thanksgiving Food Drive turns our attention to the quiet crisis facing London’s young people.  Across Ontario, ten municipalities have already declared official states of emergency over hunger - a stark acknowledgment that something fundamental is fraying.  Here in London, more than 6,000 young people rely on the Food Bank every single month. These are not abstract numbers; they are the faces of our city’s future.  This year’s drive isn’t merely about meeting today’s needs.  It’s about deciding what kind of tomorrow we’re building for the next generation.
