Thank you for your interest in helping out at the food bank. There are a number of areas that you may be interested in becoming involved.
You may wish to get involved with the general operations of the food bank. These activities include sorting donated food and assembling hamper for clients.
If you are interested in working outside we have a program called Community Harvest. Community Harvest involves visiting local farms and harvesting donated fruit and vegetables for distribution at by the London Food Bank.
There are also a number of special events that happen in our community that benefit the London Food Bank. The type and requirements of these events very but may include assisting with one of our food drives or public outreach activities.

After joining our volunteer mailing list you will receive periodic emails from the London Food Bank indicating dates, times, and activities that are available for you to become involved.
If you are a member of a group that is interested in donating some time to the London Food Bank please call the Food Bank and ask to speak with Mary Ann (519-659-4045).
If you are a high school student looking to serve some of your required community volunteer hours please call the Food Bank on the 20th of the month at 2:45pm and speak with Doug. Space permitting you will be offered an opportunity to acquire some hours during the following month.
